The Ewent EW7003 is a 9.5 mm optical-bay adapter for fitting a 2.5-inch SATA SSD or hard drive in place of a laptop’s CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive. It supports 7 mm to 9.5 mm SATA drives and offers data transfer speeds up to 6 Gbps. It is intended for notebooks with a SATA optical bay, including selected Acer, ASUS, HP and Fujitsu models. The frame measures 129 x 128 x 9.5 mm and uses aluminium with ABS.
